What can I expect in the session?

Our 1.1 sessions are tailored to your individual needs. Everyone comes to breathwork with different life experiences. Some want to heal from trauma; others want to utilise breathwork to maintain focus and performance; some want to utilise breathwork to improve their health; some want to utilise breathwork to destress, maintain calm and balance; and others want to have tools ready when they get stressed and overwhelmed.
We start by exploring your individual needs and what you want to achieve from the practice. We then develop a tailored practice to help support you.
We incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle movement in the sessions.

What impact will breathwork have on my body?

Breathwork teaches your body to respond rather than react to situations. It modulates the autonomic nervous system, shifting the body from the fight-or-flight response to a resting, calm state, thereby regulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

What should I do to prepare for the session?

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothes that allow movement
  • Remove jewellery
  • Keep hydrated and bring a water bottle
  • Bring a journal to note anything down from the session
  • Avoid coffee and stimulants 4 hours before
  • Avoid food 90 minutes before
  • No alcohol 24 hours before
